Document SENT OUT to Contractor/Employee via DocuSign;
Contractor/Employee HAS SIGNED Document;
XML has NOT YET COUNTERSIGNED Document;
You wish to CHANGE/REPLACE the document in DocuSign
If One Party has signed the Document, the Document CANNOT BE CORRECTED;
The Document can only be VOIDED, and a NEW REVISED DOCUMENT be sent out for signature.

There is a legal risk to manage.
There cannot be any misunderstanding that the content within the document you wish to Void can be enforced or relied upon by the Contractor/Employee.
Use the below message template in the “Reason for voiding envelope”:
Dear [Enter Contractor/Employee Name],
This version of the document will be cancelled and replaced immediately with a revised version according to what has been communicated by your XML representative.
This version of the document is cancelled on the basis that it was never agreed.

3. SEND REVISED/UPDATED DOCUMENT VIA NEW ENVELOPE + CAREFUL COMMUNICATION
There is a legal risk to manage.
There cannot be any misunderstanding that the content within the document you have Voided can be enforced or relied upon by the Contractor/Employee.
Use the below message template in “Email message” when sending a REVISED DOCUMENT after VOIDING a prior document:
Dear [Enter Contractor/Employee Name],
The enclosed document will render void, supersede and replace any previous document sent to cover matters contained within.
Please find below a link to begin the process of reviewing and signing the relevant terms.
Signature can be completed online.
Signing will not be complete until the terms have been signed electronically by all relevant parties.
